What we play

Before you submit a track, check what we're looking for and what we definitely won't play.

What we're looking for

Radio Kusy runs several stations, so we're looking for all kinds of music – as long as it has character and is well made. Here are our stations:

  • Heavy Sounds – Heavy riffs, thick guitars and powerful sound with no compromises.
  • Hits & Hooks – Vocal hits and hooks that stay in your head.
  • Slow Lane – Slower tracks for the evening, the road and winding down.
  • Dancefloor – Rhythm, bass and energy. Sometimes something slower. Every shade of dance music in one place.
  • On the Beat – Rap, hip-hop and trap. Heavy beats, flow and lyrics with something to say.
  • Nightride – Synthwave, retrowave, trance and night-time sounds for the road after dark.

In your submission you can tell us which station you see your track on. If it doesn't fit any of them, send it anyway – we're also looking for things that don't fit a box.

What we won't play

Submissions that fall under any of the points below get rejected.

Quality and form

  • Weak execution: flat sound, weak lyrics or vocals.
  • Tracks that are too long. The standard is 3–4 minutes; we accept longer ones only exceptionally.
  • A mix of many genres without a coherent sound.

Lyrics

  • Political content: references to politicians, parties and current political disputes.
  • Hate speech: language that is offensive towards other people or groups.

Submissions

  • Resubmitting a rejected track with changed genre tags. Changing a tag does not change the track, so the decision stays the same.

Profanity and 18+ content is not a reason for rejection

We play tracks with profanity or explicit adult themes, but we label them as adult content (18+) and only air them from 23:00 to 06:00. If your track contains such content, mark it in your submission. If you don't, a moderator will mark it for you.
